Ladies and gentlemen - you already know what it is.
CONFIRMED MATCHES:
The Seraphim Falls Tournament was initiated at 1.1 to determine the very first VCW World Heavyweight Champion. At 1.3, it was decided that the four semifinalists would go on to the finals at Crimson Dawn, turning it into a Fatal Fourway matchup. Among the contenders are Magnum, a young wrestler trying to make a name for himself, Thomas Hookton, VCW's very own self-proclaimed working class hero, Sir Feyd Brisbane, an unusual, self-styled knight who is unarguably the wildcard in the match, and Eric Ares, the egomaniacal... villain, for lack of a better word, who has basically guaranteed that he will walk out victorious. Who will win the match and walk out as VCW World Heavyweight Champion, and how will the match's fallout affect the landscape of VCW?
It didn't take very long for Craig Christ to make an enemy out of one of his employees. Romeo McCoy, a disgruntled VCW superstar who signed up for the federation to compete, but only to find out that he was left off the very first card, has had his life made hell by Craig Christ ever since he went to complain in his office. After a series of assaults, ambushes, backstabs, and even an impromptu match, every drop of blood, sweat and tears ever shed in their feud will culminate in this match at Crimson Dawn.
The word "Vendetta" means "blood feud" in Italian, and what better way to celebrate this fact than to create a championship that was all about blood. This match for the Sanguine Championship is scheduled to go all night long, timed to end only just before the main event begins. Whoever is the champion at the end of the match is the winner, and to win the title, one must make his opponent draw blood - although if he is already bleeding, then he may be pinned or made to submit. Surely there will be half a dozen crimson masks after the show, but who will be standing tall amidst the bloodshed?
At 1.1, Exodus made an auspicious debut by injuring Chris Austin, and siding with Craig Christ and his Apostles. He would continue well into the tournament until he lost to Magnum at 1.3, suffering from what seemed to be a change of heart, made evident by him finally turning on Christ at the end of the show, promising to the world that he would unmask himself at 1.4. Imagine everyone's shock when the man behind the black mask turned out to be The Chosen One himself, Drew Michaels! Feeling betrayed by his once trusted cohort, Craig Christ made a last-minute addition to Crimson Dawn: Drew Michaels would be facing a Misfit of Christ's choice. Can Christ catch Michaels off-guard?
Tensions between Captain Courage and the Wendigo iSav began at VCW Live 1.1, at the very first VCW match ever - a Fatal Fiveway where the top two would advance to the next round. Ever since then, exchanges from Captain Courage and the really irritable iSav, added also by the Great Nodnarb have fueled this feud further. A match between the three men had been announced already, but at 1.4, CC appeared after the match between iSav and Nodnarb, stating that Christ has added quite an interesting stipulation to the triple threat - whoever wins the match gets a shot at the Sanguine Championship at 2.1. This stipulation is a sure motivator for all three men; the question is, who will step his game up enough to earn the shot for the bloody belt?
Another last-minute addition to the Crimson Dawn card, rookie raver Bmore and the Professor of Patience Benjamin Bright will go at it after the Professor chose Bmore as his next student in patience. Despite seemingly unusual and random, one can't help but feel that there is something more to Bright's decision. Will Bmore outlast the very patient Bright, or will the Professor live true to his name?[/color]
